Hirkan National Park is the richest national park in our country, abundant with some of the most beautiful fauna. Its primary feature is the endemic ironwood forests. The richness of the region's plant life has created habitats for a diverse range of animals. Here, one can encounter various species such as brown bear, Caucasian red deer, lynx, wild boar, Caspian seal, bezoar goat, jackal, hyena, and more. Among the amphibians and reptiles inhabiting the area are the common newt, crested newt, Syrian spadefoot toad, Caucasian toad, and common dry frog. The park is also home to reptiles such as the Caspian turtle, striped naked-toed gecko, wall lizard, viper, and more.

We will embark on a journey to the remote and roadless villages nestled deep within the Hirkan forests. The inhabitants of these villages are primarily Talysh people, whose main occupations include beekeeping and animal husbandry. Near the village of Dilmadi, there is a historical cemetery. Due to the hardships of living in these areas, some of the population has started to relocate to lower villages.

Our journey will begin from the village of Bandasar , passing through Chayagzi and Dilmadi villages, and will conclude in Siyov village. We will spend the night in a house in Siyov village, enjoying traditional Talysh cuisine. After breakfast, we will head to the village of Sim, exploring its surroundings, and concluding our tour at the Sim waterfall.
