Day 1: Baku – Khinalig – Shahyaylaq – Camp at 3,250 m

We depart from Baku and travel to the city of Quba. The journey takes approximately 3 hours. After making our final purchases in Quba, we continue towards Khinalig village. Upon arrival in Khinalig, we take mountain vehicles to the starting point of the Bazarduzu route. After approximately 2 hours of driving, we reach the first camp located at an altitude of 2,900 meters.

Here, we complete our final preparations, take the necessary equipment for the camp, and continue on foot towards the second camp located at an altitude of 3,250 meters. This section takes approximately 2 hours. Upon reaching the second camp, we set up our tents and prepare for the ascent of Mount Bazarduzu the following day.

Day 2: Camp – Mount Bazarduzu Summit – Camp

At 04:00 in the morning, we begin our ascent towards the summit of Mount Bazarduzu, located at an altitude of 4,466 meters. The ascent takes approximately 7–8 hours, depending on weather and route conditions. At the summit, we take a short break, take photos, and enjoy the spectacular views of the Greater Caucasus. We then descend to the camp along the same route. The descent takes approximately 4–5 hours, and we spend the night in tents at the camp located at an altitude of 3,250 meters.

Day 3: Camp – Khinalig – Baku

After breakfast, we pack up our tents and at 10:00 begin descending from the camp to the point where the vehicles are waiting. From there, we return to Khinalig village by mountain vehicles. In Khinalig, we change vehicles and travel back to Baku, completing our Bazarduzu expedition.
