The pearl of the Lesser Caucasus – Mount Kapaz (3066 m) is one of the most beautiful peaks in Azerbaijan, known for its spectacular nature and breathtaking landscapes. Rising above the surroundings of Goygol National Park, Mount Kapaz looks especially different and magical in the first light of the day. On this tour, we will start our hike during the night, aiming to reach the summit of Mount Kapaz before sunrise. Watching the first rays of sunlight illuminate the mountains of the Lesser Caucasus will be one of the most unforgettable moments of this hike. Welcoming the sunrise at an altitude of 3066 meters and watching the surrounding mountains and valleys gradually light up will offer you a unique experience of being completely immersed in nature. In clear weather, the magnificent mountain views from the summit make this adventure even more special.
About Tour
Before joining the hiking tour, we recommend familiarizing yourself with all the details of the tour. Itinerary:
19:30 – Meeting at the designated location
20:00 – Departure from Baku
01:00 – Arrival in Togana village
01:00 – 03:00 – Transfer by 4×4 vehicles to the trailhead
03:00 – 08:00 – Hike to Mount Kapaz Summit (3066 m), photo break at the summit, and descent
08:00 – 10:00 – Return to Togana by 4×4 vehicles
10:00 – 12:00 – Lunch and tea break
12:00 – 15:00 – Visit to Maralgol and Goygol, photography and leisure time
15:00 – 20:00 – Return to Baku
