Before joining the Fast Bazarduzu Tour, it is important to know that the route will be high-paced, the required equipment, the campsites and mountain views you will visit, the distance, and the weather conditions. This will help you move more comfortably, safely, and efficiently throughout the tour.
Day 1: Baku → Guba → Khinalig → Bazarduzu Camp
We depart from Baku to Quba, which takes approximately 3 hours. After completing our last shopping in Quba, we head to Xinaliq village (about 2 hours). From Xinaliq, we continue to Bazardüzü Mountain by 4x4 vehicles. In about 2 hours, we pass Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service checkpoint. Our first stop is Shahyaylaq, one of the most beautiful highlands in the country, where we admire many 4000-meter peaks of Azerbaijan. Continuing by car, we reach 2900 meters altitude, then hike for 2 hours with our backpacks to reach the camp at 3250 meters. After setting up the tents, we rest and spend the night in the tents.

Day 2: Bazarduzu Summit → Bazarduzu Camp → Khinalig → Baku
We wake up at 04:00 in the morning and begin the ascent to Bazardüzü summit. The climb to the summit takes approximately 6–7 hours. After reaching the summit, we descend back to the camp (approximately 2–3 hours). After resting, we pack our tents and head down to the vehicles, then drive back to Xinaliq village and finally return to Baku.

Required Equipment:
Tent, mountain boots, waterproof warm pants (Gore-Tex), waterproof warm jacket (Gore-Tex), sleeping bag, trekking poles, cooking equipment, gas stove and cylinder, headlamp, gaiters, hat, sunglasses, gloves, socks, thermal base layers, fleece jacket, mat, tent, etc.
Additional Information & Conditions:
- Registration & Permit: To participate in the tour, registration and full payment must be completed at least 30 days in advance. Participants must provide a passport copy to obtain permits from Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service.
- Cancellation & Refund:
- Full refund if canceled 30 days before the tour date.
- 70% refund if canceled 15 days before (30% retained).
- 50% refund if canceled 7 days before.
- No refund for cancellations 5 days or less before the tour.
- Tour Program Changes: The tour leader reserves the right to modify or cancel the program due to weather, public events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Group Size: Groups can be 3, 7, or 14 participants. Contact us for individual pricing for different group requirements.
- Mobile Communication: Mobile coverage may be limited in some mountain areas. The best connection is through the Azercell operator.
- Food & Equipment: Participants are responsible for their own meals and cooking in the mountain environment.
- Special Requests: If you want to add or remove locations or meals from the tour, contact us.
- Tips: Providing tips is optional and at your discretion if you are satisfied with the services.
