Before joining the wine tour, it is important to learn all the details about the tour. This is especially useful for those visiting a winery and vineyards for the first time and helps prevent unexpected situations. Being informed in advance about the tour route, places to visit, wine tasting process, transportation, and weather conditions will help you have a more comfortable and enjoyable experience during the tour.
Wine Tour Program:
DAY 1: Baku – Shamakhi – Basqal – Lahij – Winery – Hotel
We depart from Baku to Ismayilli, with a short stop in Shamakhi, then arrive at Basqal village, where we explore historic streets and see the places where Kelaghayi is made. Next, we continue towards Lahij, stopping at the suspension bridge along the way, and visit Lahij's historical and cultural sites, including Namazgah spring, craft workshops at the Bazaar square, and local product shops. In Lahij, we enjoy a delicious lunch with local cuisine and then head to the hotel; dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.
DAY 2: Winery – Vineyard – Baku
After breakfast, the tour of the winery begins, and you get hands-on experience with seasonal grape picking. During the winery tour, you will learn about the history and production process of wine and have the opportunity to taste various wines along with snacks. After lunch and rest, we return to Baku.

Recommendations for clothing and comfort for wine tour participants:
Comfortable and season-appropriate clothing – You may need to walk in vineyards, so wear light, comfortable, and weather-appropriate clothes. In spring and summer, light-colored, breathable clothes are recommended; in autumn and winter, warm and water-resistant clothing is preferred.
Comfortable shoes – For walking in vineyards and winery areas, sneakers or sturdy comfortable shoes are recommended.
Hat and sunglasses – Useful for sun protection outdoors.
Extra outerwear – Bring a light jacket or sweater for cool areas or evenings.
Bag – A small bag is convenient; carrying items in hand can be difficult.

- Registration and Permission: To participate in the tour, you must register at least 30 days in advance and make full payment.
- Cancellation and Refund:
- Full refund if canceled 30 days before the tour date.
- 70% refund if canceled 15 days before the tour date.
- 50% refund if canceled 7 days before the tour date.
- No refund if canceled 5 days or less before the tour date.
- Grape harvesting and wine production activities are seasonal (usually conducted in September – October).
- Wine tasting is intended only for participants aged 18 and above.
- Group size is planned for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 16 participants.
- The organizer reserves the right to make minor changes to the program due to weather conditions or winery circumstances.
- Safety rules and the guide's instructions must be followed during the tour.
- Tips: Giving tips is optional if you are satisfied with the services.
