Details

Before joining the Shahdag summit tour, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with all the details of the tour. This is especially useful for those embarking on the summit for the first time and will help you avoid surprises. Being informed in advance about the physical challenges, the length of the route, and weather conditions will ensure you are prepared.

Day 1 of the Tour

We depart from Baku to the village of Khinalig in the Guba region (5 hours).
We complete our final shopping in Guba and continue our journey towards Khinalig.
In Khinalig village, we set off towards the Shahdag camp with mountain vehicles (2 hours).
After getting off the vehicles, we walk for 45 minutes with our camping gear to the campsite.
After setting up our tents and resting, we will take an acclimatization walk.
After dinner, we complete our summit preparations and go to sleep.

Day 2 of the Tour

At 05:00 in the morning, we start our climb to the Shahdag summit.
Our summit route is 6-7 hours.
After taking summit photos, we descend towards the camp.
The descent will take 3-4 hours.
We descend to the camp, pack up our tents, and head towards the waiting vehicles.
We get into the vehicles and head towards Khinalig village.
We change our vehicles and continue our journey towards Baku.

Day 3 of the Tour

After breakfast, we pack up our tents and set off for Khinalig.
After reaching Khinalig village, we change our vehicles and continue our journey towards Baku.

Additional Information

The group size can be a maximum of 3, 7, or 14 people.
You must register and make payment at least 30 days before the tour (a copy of your passport is required).
Tour participants will be notified 30 days in advance, and permission will be obtained from Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service.
We reserve the right to change or cancel the tour program due to weather conditions, public events, or emergencies.
Food and cooking in the mountain environment are the responsibility of the participant.
