Despite its impressive height, Bazardüzü is considered a technically easy climb, making it an ideal challenge for adventure seekers. Flowing down from its majestic slopes, the rivers of this great mountain pass through Şahyaylaq before embarking on a long and roaring journey towards the Caspian Sea.

 Day 1: Transport to Khinalig village

 After breakfast at the hotel we leave for Guba region. It is a 3-hour drive from Baku to Guba. After finishing our last shopping in Guba, we   leave for Khinalig village (2 hours). We are staying in guest houses in Khinalig village. After lunch, we climb to the top of Kharibulbul (2783 m)   to adjust to the height. We return to the village and spend the night in a guest house.

 Day 2: Acclimatization hiking and peak preparation

 After breakfast, we set out for Mount Bazarduzu in a 4x4 vehicle. In about 2 hours, we pass through the Shahdag National Park and the State   Border Service departure point, continuing our journey. First, we reach Shahyaylag, the most beautiful plateau in the country, and enjoy the   views of several 4000-meter peaks in Azerbaijan. Continuing by car, we reach an altitude of 2900 meters. Carrying our backpacks, we hike   for 2 hours to the shelter located at 3250 meters. There, we set up our tents and relax. After lunch, we embark on a hike to an altitude of   3400 meters. Later, returning to our tents, we complete our preparations to climb Mount Bazarduzu. We are sleeping.

 Day 3: Climbing Bazarduzu and Zafar Peak, and returning to Baku

 We wake up at 04:00 in the morning. We start climbing to the summit of Mount Bazarduzu. Climbing to the summit of Mount Bazarduzu   takes  approximately 6-7 hours. After reaching the summit of Bazarduzu, we ascend to the Zafar Peak (1 hour). From the peak, we descend   to  the shelter (3-4 hours). We return to Khinalug and then set off for Baku.

Additional information

  1. The maximum group size can be 3, 7, or 12 people.
  2. You must register and make the payment at least 30 days before the tour (with a copy of your passport).
  3. Permits for Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service will be obtained 30 days before the tour.
  4. The tour guide has the right to modify or cancel the tour program in case of weather conditions, public events, or any emergency situations.
  5. Participants are responsible for their own meals and cooking in the mountain conditions.
