Before joining the Mount Babadağ Summit Tour, we recommend familiarizing yourself with all the details of the tour. This is especially useful for those climbing a summit for the first time and will help you avoid unexpected situations. Knowing in advance about the physical challenges, distance, and weather conditions will help you be properly prepared.
Day 1: Baku – Lahij – Gurbanah Camp
Day 2: Gurbanah – Mount Babadağ Summit – Lahij – Baku
We depart from Baku for Lahij town in Ismayilli District (approximately 3 hours). After a 10-minute break in Shamakhi, we continue our journey toward Lahij. After arriving in Lahij, we change vehicles and continue by GAZ-66 to Gurbanah, located at the foot of Mount Babadağ near the source of the Girdimanchay River.
The route by GAZ-66 will pass through forested areas and along the riverbed. At an altitude of 2,200 meters, we set up our tents near Gurbanah. After a rest and lunch break, we go on a hike to an area called Dervish Trail (2,400 m) to acclimatize to the mountain and altitude.
After dinner, at 22:00, the camp becomes quiet and it is time to rest.

Registration and Permits: Participants must register and make full payment at least 30 days before the tour. During this period, participants must provide a copy of their passport so that the necessary permits can be obtained from Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If the reservation is cancelled 30 days or more before the tour date, the full amount will be refunded.

If cancelled 15 days before the tour, 70% of the amount will be refunded (30% will be retained).

If cancelled 7 days before the tour, 50% of the amount will be refunded.

Reservations cancelled 5 days or less before the tour are non-refundable.
