Before joining the trekking tour, it is important to familiarize yourself with all the details of the tour. This is especially useful for first-time mountain hikers and helps prevent unexpected situations. Learning in advance about the difficulty level of the route, required equipment, distance, and weather conditions will help you move more comfortably and safely throughout the tour.

Travel Plan:

DAY 1: Baku - Basqal - Niyaldagh Pass - Lahij

We depart from Baku to the Basqal settlement in Ismayilli district (approximately 3 hours). After exploring Basqal, we drive to Taghlebiyan village and start our trekking journey from there. A few minutes later, we enter the depths of the forest and reach the Niyaldagh plateau. Then, we ascend to the summit of Niyaldagh at an altitude of 2053 meters. After a lunch break, we descend towards Lahij.

On our way, we visit the Girdiman Fortress, which belongs to Albanian history, and continue our journey. After arriving in Lahij, we walk through its historic streets and settle into a guesthouse. We spend the night in Lahij.

DAY 2: Lahij - Aregit Plateau - Mucu Village

After breakfast, we start our hike towards Mucu village. We walk through the ancient streets of Lahij towards the Aregit Plateau. After passing the plateau at an altitude of 2000 meters, we descend through the forest towards Mucu village. Upon arrival, we return to Baku.

    • 70% refund if canceled 15 days before the tour (30% is non-refundable).
    • 50% refund if canceled 7 days before the tour.
    • No refund if canceled 5 days or less before the tour.
