This section of the Trans-Caucasian Trail (TCT), one of Azerbaijan's most beautiful mountain routes, takes you from the ancient city of Sheki to the mountain villages of Gakh. Sheki has developed over centuries along the paths of merchants, shepherds, and mountain travelers, offering a unique landscape. Caravanserais and cobblestone streets reflecting the Silk Road preserve the city's historic spirit to this day. From the historic center of Sheki, the TCT route extends both east and west, winding through forested valleys and highland pastures along the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus.
