Before joining the trekking tour, it is important to familiarize yourself with all the details about the trip. This is especially helpful for those going on a mountain hike for the first time and helps avoid unexpected situations. Being informed in advance about the route’s difficulty level, required equipment, distance, and weather conditions will help you move more comfortably and safely throughout the tour.
Travel Itinerary:
DAY 1: Airport → Baku → Hotel

DAY 2: Baku – Quba – Qusar – Kuzun – Laza Village
After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards the Quba region. The drive from Baku to Quba takes about 3 hours. After making the last shopping stop in Quba, we continue to Kuzun village in Qusar (1 hour). From Kuzun, we begin our hike toward the ancient mountain village of Laza (3–4 hours). Upon arrival, we settle into guesthouses for an overnight stay. After dinner, we spend the night in village houses.

DAY 3: Laza → Mixtoken Ridge → Qriz Village
After breakfast, we begin our hike towards Qriz village. On the way, we visit the beautiful Laza Waterfall and continue along the meadows of the Mixtoken Ridge. Gradually, we make our way towards Qriz. At the end of the ridge, we complete the hike near a single mountain house and continue the remaining part by off-road vehicle.
Upon arrival in Qriz, we explore the village and its historical sites before checking into a guesthouse for the night.

DAY 4: Qriz → Galakhudat → Khinalig Village
After breakfast, we head towards Xinaliq village. While trekking along the Gudyalchay Canyon, we have the opportunity to see the stunning Gur-Gur Waterfall. Then we continue towards Galakhudat village, where we rest and have lunch in a local house before hiking further to Xinaliq. Enjoying the breathtaking landscapes, we reach Xinaliq and explore its ancient monuments. Overnight stay in a guesthouse in Xinaliq.

DAY 5: Khinalig → Shahyaylag → Bazarduzu Base Camp (2900 m)
After breakfast, we depart by 4x4 vehicles towards Mount Bazarduzu. The 2-hour journey passes through Shahdag National Park and a State Border checkpoint. Along the way, we stop at the famous Shahyaylag plateau, enjoying the panoramic views of Azerbaijan’s 4000-meter peaks.
We continue driving up to 2900 meters, then hike for about 2 hours (with luggage carried by horses) to reach the 3250-meter camp. After setting up our tents, we have lunch.
In the afternoon, we take an acclimatization hike up to 3400 meters. Returning to camp, we complete preparations for the summit climb and rest overnight.
DAY 6: Bazarduzu Camp → Summit → Xinaliq
We wake up at 04:00 and begin our ascent to the summit of Mount Bazarduzu. The ascent takes about 6–7 hours, followed by a 2–3 hour descent back to camp. After packing our tents, we return to Xinaliq village and stay overnight.

DAY 7: Baku City Tour
After breakfast, we return to Baku. Once settled in the hotel, we begin our city tour.
Baku City Tour includes:
- Walk in Icherisheher (Old City)
- Maiden Tower (12th century)
- Palace of the Shirvanshahs (15th century)
- Highland Park
- Flame Towers
- Baku Boulevard
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 8: Baku → Airport Transfer
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer our guests to the airport — end of the tour.

- Registration and Permit: Participants must register at least 30 days in advance and make full payment.
- Cancellation and Refund:
- Full refund if canceled 30 days before the tour date.
- 70% refund if canceled 15 days before (30% retained).
- 50% refund if canceled 7 days before.
- No refund if canceled 5 days or less before the tour.
- Tour Program Changes: The tour leader has the right to change or cancel the program due to weather, public events, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Group Size: Groups can be 3, 7, or 14 people. For different group requirements, contact us for a custom price.
- Mobile Connection: Mobile network may not work in some mountain areas. Best connection is with Azercell.
- Food and Equipment: Participants are responsible for their own meals and cooking in mountain conditions.
