Kapaz Mountain Summit Tour 3066m

We depart from Baku for Toghana Village in Goygol District, with a 5-hour journey. After lunch, we take a hike to Goygol Lake to acclimatize to the altitude. After exploring Goygol Lake, we return to the village house. After dinner, we complete our preparations for the summit and rest.

At 05:00 in the morning, we board 4x4 vehicles and depart for Khan Spring, located at the foot of Mount Kapaz. The drive will take approximately 2 hours. We then begin our ascent of Mount Kapaz. The hike to the summit will take approximately 3–4 hours.

After reaching the summit, we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the lakes within Goygol National Park, the villages of Goygol District, and the highest peaks of the Lesser Caucasus. After taking summit photos, we begin our descent toward the camp. The descent will take approximately 2 hours.

After reaching the lower section, we travel by vehicle back to Toghana Village. After a short rest, we depart for Baku.

Mountaineering boots, waterproof warm trousers (Gore-Tex), waterproof warm jacket (Gore-Tex), sleeping bag, trekking poles, cooking equipment, gas stove and canister, tent, headlamp, balaclava, hat, sunglasses, gloves, socks, thermal underwear, polar jacket, mat, tent, etc.

• Registration and Permits: Participants must register and make full payment at least 30 days before the tour. During this period, participants must provide a copy of their passport so that the necessary permits can be obtained from Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service.
  

• Cancellation and Refund Policy:
  

  • If the reservation is cancelled 30 days or more before the tour date, the full amount will be refunded.

  • If cancelled 15 days before the tour, 70% of the amount will be refunded (30% will be retained).

  • If cancelled 7 days before the tour, 50% of the amount will be refunded.

  • Reservations cancelled 5 days or less before the tour are non-refundable.

• Changes to the Tour Program: The tour leader reserves the right to modify or cancel the program due to weather conditions, public events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  

• Group Size: Groups can consist of 3, 7, or 14 participants. Please contact us for a customized price if you have different group requirements.

• Mobile Communication: Mobile phone coverage may not be available in some areas of the mountains. The best coverage is generally provided by Azercell.
  

• Food and Equipment: Participants are responsible for their own food and cooking arrangements in the mountains.
