Before joining the summit tour, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with all the details related to the tour. This is especially useful for those embarking on a summit hike for the first time and will help you avoid surprises. Being aware of physical challenges, the length of the route, and weather conditions in advance will ensure you are well-prepared.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Baku-Quba-Khinalig-Bazaryurd Camp
We depart from Baku to the Quba region. After making our final purchases, we continue our journey to Khinalig village. Upon arrival at Khinalig, we take mountain vehicles to the Bazaryurd summit camp. The camp is at an altitude of 2900 meters. After completing our final preparations, we begin a trek to the second camp at 3250 meters. We set up our tents and rest. To acclimatize to the altitude and the mountain, we take a short hike to 3400 meters. We spend the night in tents.
Day 2: Bazaryurd Camp - Bazaryurd Summit - Khinalig - Baku
At 05:00 AM, we start our ascent to the Bazaryurd summit (4426 m). The ascent takes 6-7 hours, while the descent takes 3-4 hours. After descending to the camp, we pack our tents and head towards the vehicles.

Required Equipment:
Mountain boots, waterproof warm pants (Gore-Tex), waterproof warm jacket (Gore-Tex), sleeping bag, trekking poles, cooking equipment, gas burner and cylinder, tent, headlamp, gaiters, hat, sunglasses, gloves, socks, thermal underwear, fleece jacket, mat, tent, etc.
Additional Information and Conditions:
- Registration and Permit: Participants must register at least 30 days in advance and make full payment. During this period, passport copies must be submitted for permits from Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Full refund if canceled 30 days before the tour.
- 70% refund if canceled 15 days before the tour.
- 50% refund if canceled 7 days before the tour.
- No refund if canceled within 5 days of the tour.
- Tour Program Changes: The tour leader reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary due to weather conditions, public events, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Group Size: Groups of 3, 7, or 14 people are available. For custom group sizes, please contact us for pricing.
- Mobile Network: Some areas may have limited mobile connectivity. The best coverage is provided by Azercell.
- Food and Equipment: Participants are responsible for their own food and cooking equipment in mountain conditions.
