Bazaryurd Peak is one of the highest and most magnificent mountains in the Republic of Azerbaijan. With an elevation of 4126 meters, this peak is part of the Greater Caucasus mountain range and is located in the north of the country, on the border of the Qusar and Qabala regions. Bazaryurd is considered an invaluable mountain peak for both mountaineers and nature lovers.
Bazaryurd Peak is situated on the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, near other high peaks such as Bazardüzü (4466 m) and Tufandag (4191 m). This peak is the source of the Qusarçay River. The river is fed by the melting glaciers covering Bazaryurd Peak and the springs at the foot of the mountain. The mountain's terrain consists of steep cliffs, sharp slopes, and alpine meadows.
